Retention Partners was established in 2000 by Lisa Halloran, our Retention Director. Lisa's backgrounds in market research and HR are combined in the services and products provided by Retention Partners.
Lisa Halloran (B Bus, MBA)
Director
Lisa has 4 years' market research experience, working with the research company that provided electoral research to one of the major political parties at state and federal levels, including during a number of federal and state election campaigns.
Subsequently, Lisa has had 14 years' experience in HR management roles in a diverse range of industry sectors. Lisa created the HR consulting arm in NSW for the ACM, the largest multi-industry employer group in Australia. Lisa was also National HR Manager with a major food and retail company. Lisa has provided HR policy and strategic planning consulting services to blue chip financial services firms, FMCG, television, pharmaceutical and education as well as the NSW public sector.Lisa created Retention Partners in 2000 to focus on exit interview outsourcing, retention surveys and manager retention skills training. Lisa has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA from AGSM.
Nicola Deall (BBus)
Head of Talent Studies Research
Nicola oversees each client's research projects in our Talent Studies team and uses her project management, technical understanding and communication skills to make sure that each project delivers important HR solutions. Through nurturing relationships, Nicola is able to understand the individual needs of every client and tailor each project to suit the unique nature of each organisation and its employees.
Nicola has previously been the Head of Operations for a company in the financial sector and has been involved in fast growing businesses with roles that included managing IT projects, property taxation consulting, technical training for the quantity surveying industry and marketing for a not-for-profit organisation. She has also worked as a journalist and newsreader, covering U.S. and local financial markets and the Australian property market.
Nicola is passionate about finding win-win solutions for organisations and their staff and Nicola brings her diverse range of skills to improve efficiencies, foster relationships with clients and make sure that each research project provides accurate and valuable outcomes, on time.
Tammie Werner
Employee Retention Researcher, Talent Studies
Tammie Werner specialises in talking with clients' current and former employees to identify why they stay, join and resign.
Since joining Retention Partners, Tammie has interviewed current and former employees of a range of national clients in sectors such as blue chip financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and Government. Tammie conducts interview training skills sessions to enable our clients to learn from our expertise.
Tammie is completing her combined Bachelor of Commerce/Arts at UNSW and uses her marketing major to develop her skills and role with our market research projects.
Kim Bradley
Retention Projects Manager
Kim has 9 years experience in Human Resources. During her last generalist role she supported a client group across Asia undertaking HR metrics, remuneration and benefits, policy and strategy work for the region.
Prior to this role, Kim has held operational HR roles in the banking sector and Kim also worked with an international HR consultancy firm, researching and writing Engagement Survey Reports.
At Retention Partners, Kim undertakes employee research with our client's current and former employees, and develops retention reports for both the organisation as well as for individual high value employees.
Kim has a Bachelor of Economics from UNSW along with a Graduate Certificate in HR.
Susan Donovan (B Apps Sc, Cert IV TA)
Workshops Facilitator
Susan has been training and facilitating programs since 1998 with a variety of training organisations. Her extensive career combines facilitation, instructional design, competency mapping and training for many blue chip organisations and also with public courses.
Susan is a pleasure to work with. Client feedback is always of the highest level due to Susan's credibility, strong focus on activity-based learning and sustainable achievement of business objectives.
